  • In a well-written paragraph, explain why your group chose these examples based on the definitions of suspense and foreshadowing.

Defintion

Suspense- a feeling of adrenaline and excitement that keeps the reader wanting to know what will happen next

Foreshadow- something happening later
Suspense
is when ''And After--?'' was said on page 36
when she drifted out of the room like a shadow page page 30

is when the captain though just possible he might have something to do with the picture on pg. 26

Paragraph
We choice these events for there key clues and excitement in the story. We thought that when the it stated the poem we all were wondering what could this mean and we know for a fact that meet the description of foreshadow the future. For suspense we agreed that these key points were weird and made us feel curious about the hole thing. These facts and clues easy made us want to keep read and find out more shocking events.
